This bike is bred for the trails. Cro-mo DT frame, tubular cro-mo 3-piece cranks, cassette rear hub, and Tektro 907 brakes - the perfect parts package on the perfect bike for the progressing trail rider.While comparably priced bikes offer up nothing more than a raspy bark, the Diamondback Skindog lets its bite do the talking. The perfect bike for the progressing mid-sized trail rider, the Skindog is equipped with such features as a Hi-Ten steel frame with a chromoly down tube, a chromoly fork, a Tektro 907 U-brake with SST DC amplifier, an SST ORYG detangler, tubular chromoly three-piece cranks, DB Sound alloy platform pedals with steel traction pins, and alloy wheels with 14mm axles. In fact, the Skindog--which was bred specifically for the trails--comes with many of the same features and components found on pricier models.

The Skindog BMX bike boasts a Hi-Ten steel frame and chromoly fork.

This bike is all my daughter talked about in the weeks approaching her birthday. I don't think anything else could have satiated my little spider man fan. The bike was easy enough for me to assemble, and is covered in Spiderman imagery. It is tough, a good size for my four year old, and easy for her to steer and break. br /br /My only complaint is the Spiderman shield on the handlebars because it is made of very thin plastic and secured by a tie down. That cheap touch is out of place in an otherwise solid bike. It is easy to remove however and the bike loses nothing in its disposal. br /

This bike was a beginner bike for my 3-1/2 year-old for Christmas. It was easy to assemble and went together without a hitch. Assembly was very straight forward, so the instructions were really only referenced for proper assembly order. Quality seems excellent.br /br /My son loves the bike, and of course, loves that it is "Spidy Man!" He is still in the learning stages of riding the bike, so it is not yet seeing heavy duty use. By that time, history has taught me that he will have out-grown this bike anyway and be on a larger, second one. Kids grow so fast.
